Minutes of October 24, 2016
The meeting was opened at 10:10 am with N.Champigny, R. Champigny and K. Purcell present. L. Hebert and J. Rodriguez were absent. The minutes of October 24th, September 12th and September 26th were reviewed and accepted.
Health Fair Attendance was lower than 2015 but several things were noted. Veterans Affairs was welcomed, Sgt. Johnson enrolled people in the Blackboard program, Joseph Roy enjoyed attending. Information presented was appreciated. To be considered: hold every other year? a summer event? avoid holiday weekend, present the different providers throughout the year, i.e. Elder Services, hearing, Balance class, VNA, Foot Care with J. Kelley.
Planning Lunch – 4xs a year – Nov, Jan, Mar, May. Consider Rose’s , Roadside, 4 Bros and the General Store. Museum –Berkshire Museum Exercise –
Balance/Fall Prevention class being planned for early 2017. Paper Shredding event Film – Elder Affairs will now approve the fee of $500. For annual film rentals.The response was not positive.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:10 am.
